Sunday Wisdom

"When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted,

"Hosanna!"

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!"

"Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!"

"Hosanna in the highest!"

Mark 11: 7-10, NIV

Be Happy!

There are so many things we can do each day to make life happy.
Keep you chin high and look to the sky!
Laugh...
laugh...
laugh!
Spend some time in the sunshine!
Be inquisitive!
Clean your plate.
Reach out to those you love:).
Spend time with those you love.
Sit like an Egyptian.
Love each other.
Mind your manners.
Reach far.
Be silly.
Take time to nap.
Grow where you are planted.
And then nap some more:).
Make the most of your situation.
Keep one eye on the ball (or in this case the camera).
Be humble.
And always remember that love is the most important thing-share some today:).

There's a new cat on the blog!
Or should I say in blogland:).

Sunday Wisdom

"The Lord will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail."
Isaiah 58: 11, NIV

Terra Cottage-Hallway & Bathroom

Kramer welcomes you all to the hallway and bathroom tour:).
We replaced both hall lights with stained glass fixtures and then added antique frames as medallions.
This wall hosts family photos, artwork, and an antique architectural header.
We often use architectural pieces as art!
In this case architectural salvage is used to frame an antique clock giving it a grander presence at the end of the hallway.
Family photos welcome all who visit:).
An ornate shelf displays the pictures.
Detail of the architectural header above the clock.
The hallway bathroom is hubby's bathroom (to see my bathroom visit http://bathtubdiary.blogspot.com/ )
The bathroom door has no lock so it's important to knock before entering:).
Stained glass is a great way to add art to bathroom walls as it holds up well to moisture.
Stained glass and architectural salvage add beauty to the window and shower curtain.
Hubby did all of the moldings, beadboard, and tile work.
Antique bottles crown the medicine cabinet.
A scrollwork light fixture dazzles the antique oak mirror.
Victorian style tilework.
This magazine rack was purchased at an auction. I added the wood applique and painted it white.
Details make a room, right down to the glass doornobs.
A clock makes sure hubby is on time each morning:).
Kramer wants to thank you for visiting.
He's off to the spare bedroom for a catnap:).
