Things have been rather hectic this week so I have not had the opportunity to do much in the way of photography. In light of this I decided to post some pictures I took a while back of a favorite Victorian home downtown.
Thank You!
I also want to thank Andrea of http://aparsonswife.blogspot.com/ for her gracious gift of the 'Sisterhood Award'. I absolutely love Andrea's blogspot-please make sure to visit:) Everytime I read one of her posts it speaks to my heart and always gives me the guidance that I seem to need at that moment.
Thank you Andrea-you are a true blessing:)

(For those who have visited my blog before and have been so kind to leave step by step directions on how to transfer said awards to my blog-it still isn't working for me so please forgive the fact that I am still unable to post the lovely picture of the award:) In light of this fact, and also my inability to choose favorites, I am passing this award on to all of my blogging sisterhood (see my list of favorites below:).

I love old homes. I live in a house that was built in 1900. At one time it had gingerbread work and wooden fishscale siding around the top. It also boasted four porches. I wish we could have decked the house out as it was when we started remodeling about 13years ago, but being a young couple with a limited budget, it wasn't going to happen.
And, thanks to you too. I love beging a blogger with you!

Kim, thank you for your kind words. You're a special person, and you are so deserving of the sisterhood award.
The pictures are beautiful. I love driving through historical neighborhoods, and I always wonder about the inside of the homes. And I think about living in one and how it would be.
Take care. Many blessings.
Andrea
These photos are so lovely. I like to dream of living in a house like this. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, drinking lemonade on the porch.

I have a strange obsession with the Victorian era and it's architecture. I always have. I truly love the photos I find here. THAT is an incredibly beautiful home. I love the windows and the details. Someday, I hope to live in a gorgeous Victorian with a wrap around porch. Ahh, I'm dreaming again... Thanks for sharing!
Oh Kim I miss you!
I have been out (partying, entertaining, & vacationing) all week and I am anxiously reading all of your posts that I have missed!
(I was having "beautiful picture withdrawal" & I knew exactly where to come!)
I could SO see us sitting and sipping tea on that front porch! Love the light yellow and white.
