Sunday Wisdom

"But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."
Luke 1: 30-33, NIV

Dear Kim,

Beautiful scripture!!! Thank you so much for sharing this. I love your "Sunday Wisdom!" Thank you so much for visiting me and for your sweet words... you gave me an early Christmas present too! :) Yes, it is wonderful how attached we become to our dear blogging friends though we have not met in person! God truly binds our hearts together. I agree with you, God does know where to send creatures that need a good home. I remember reading about Kramer. All of your furry babies are so blessed to have a home with you and your hubby! I have enjoyed catching up on your posts. The Kramer Chronicles always make me laugh. How exciting you and your hubby were in a movie. I am thrilled for you both. I loved the beautiful clothing and accessories you both wore. Everyone looked so wonderful! I am glad you met so many kindred spirits. I love the gorgeous purses you made and the tintype photo of you and your hubby is beautiful!

Have a very blessed Christmas!!!!

Love, Paula

The nativity scene is beautiful! You can't tell it was made of shells until you enlarge it. I'm sure there's something profound that could be said about that like - the Lord can be found in all of earths creations if we just but look - however I'll leave that for the poets and philosophers whom I know can say it better than I.

You seem to have a knack for sharing quotes and scriptures with us that touch our hearts! The photo of the manger reminds me of the one that my mom had at Christmas time when we were all kids. hugs from here, Debby

Hello Kim, every once in awhile, when the holidays get hectic, we need to be gently reminded of why we celebrate Christmas.
