You Know You're a Blogger When...

you see everything as a potential blog post!
I was cooking supper this evening (I cook on the weekends now:) and decided that it was a photo opportunity worthy of a blog post.
The table was set with fine china, silver, and cloth napkins.
The asparagus pie was so beautiful I had to photograph it (when was the last time you were inspired to take a picture of a pie you baked? Only in blogland could it be viewed as a thing of beauty-lol:)!
Then I realized 'hey, this is blogland! You can't just take a picture of a pie-you have to stage it!'
Meanwhile, Kramer is waiting patiently for supper to be ready...
Kasey is waiting patiently too.
The asparagus pie was served with white-bean and sage soup
(which actually has no sage in it-go figure).
The meal was so good that it received a standing ovation from Kasey!
Yeah, I know, it's not proper to allow the dog on the table but it was so funny that I had to grab my camera and take pictures!
This was definately blog worthy!
Welcome to the wonderful world of blogland where everything is a potential blog post:).

I know exactly what you mean! I think like this all of the time now.
;^)
I LOVE your post! The pie looks as if it is straight out of a magazine! Great job!...and the doggie...too too cute. ;^) (Except now Kasey is going to think that the table is a stage. You may be taking more photos there.)

I totally agree! I seem to always be thinking "I can blog about that" with pictures of course! Love Kasey's top dog attitude! LOL
Would love to have your recipe for that beautiful "picture perfect' pie.

Yep...I think that 99% of the time anymore too...but unless I have my camera in hand...it's all for naught!!
I am usually out someplace when I see something that I would like to post about.
I will have to tape the camera to my hand I guess.

Your pie looked MARVELOUS ...Wow did it ever. Bet it was YUMMMMMY .

OK, step back from the blog!!!! We need to talk! As wonderful as everything looked you fed hubby a "meatless" meal???!!! I understand this new cooking thing you've found, BUT you're in the South. It's not food unless it contains some MEAT plus either butter or bacon.

You can resume blogging now but please remember the rules.

Love You,

Dad

White bean and sage soup...forget the sage, I LOVE WHITE BEANS! Oh, I think we are all thinking about food at the moment, to comfort us in this time of extreme cold! Thank you dearest for coming to grab a slice of French bread! Wouldn't that be sweet to come together to share laughs, food and fun? Have a delightful day! Anita

I've just discovered your blog and I am really enjoying it! I love all things Victorian, too. Obsessed might be a better word! ;-)
Can't wait to see more.

You're a regular Martha Stewart! The pie looks scrumptious! The photos of Kasey on the table crack me up! I know what you mean... I'm tending to think about life differently in terms of blogging too.
