Fairy Tale-Part III

Welcome back to Faith Cottage!
Come inside for a tour:).
Although the original ornamentation and fretwork remain on the exterior, the interior has been remodeled.
The floors in the living room are Brazilian cherry (Pergo).
An archway on the other side of the room leads to the kitchen.
White cabinetry with blue/tan tile flooring and blue Corian countertops (working with the blue will be a challenge but I feel up to the task:).
The door to the left is a bathroom while the door to the right leads to the second bedroom.
The largest bedroom (master) is at the front of the house off the living room.
This is the third bedroom at the back of the house (yeah, I know, I'm going back and forth but it's a small house so you shouldn't get lost:).
This is the second bedroom (off the kitchen).
A small bathroom off the kitchen boasts a standing shower to the left.
This is the main bathroom at the back of the house.
If you've been to my Bathtub Diary blog (http://bathtubdiary.blogspot.com/) I know what you're thinking-
where's the claw foot tub?
That's another story that will be addressed at a future date:).
And finally, this is the sun porch off the kitchen.
Well there it is, Faith Cottage.
Although she might seem a bit plain now there is much beauty in her future as we begin working on bringing this Victorian cottage to her full potential.
Stay tuned:).

Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see more. How many square feet does your new home have? This just helps me relate to my own house (in my head) as I am not very good at visualizing space. ♥♫

Wow Kim...this is wonderful news!
You never even gave me a HINT! Shame on you ;)
She's beautiful and I know your heart will be happy in it :)
Did you ask Kramer about this? He sure keeps a good secret too!
I love the front porch...oh you are so going to enjoy sitting in your rocking chair and enjoying the scenery.
However, Terra Cottage holds so many memories...I'm almost sad to see her go.
So which bedroom will be mine?

Kim dearest,

First of all, thank you for coming by and then, your lovely cottage is your dream....and you are making it your reality as well. That is what it is all about! We too, are always in the process of making Rabbit Hill, our home, a magical place. Today we too fiddled around with new ideas and installed a marble fireplace in my studio. But when you have a small space, things can be challenging. However, GOd gives us creativity and determination to do such things that really, are only a shadow of the lessons of life He wants to teach! Carry one...Faith Cottage is a magical place!!!! ENJOY THE WEEKEND, Anita

Kim-

It will be a lot of fun for you to transform this beauty back to her original roots! It's great that she's been so updated and cared for, so move-in ready. Can't wait to see what your plans are! I'm sure she will reveal her true self to you after you move in and get to know her!
