Autumn Bliss

Bliss is one of my new favorite words! After reading 'Blogging for Bliss' it just seems like a happy, care-free word that automatically makes one think of the pleasant things in life.
You know, things that make you smile like scrolly architectural salvage,
silver, roses, and pumpkins,
apple everything, a cozy spot on the porch,
gathering with friends,
autumn sunrise,
scented candles,
colors of red, orange, gold, and amber,
a glass of chardonnay,
and the sparkle in simple pleasures.
Come sit a spell, enjoy a glass of wine, and tell me what brings bliss to your autumn days.

Kim! WOW! We just crossed each other's paths! Thank you for coming to vote! I was thinking this was a bust...you broke the tie! I am going to wait until midnight to see, but thank you for making the decision! Hey, your blog looks great! How are you? I have been a busy teacher with back to school and all! Take care! Oh, you are a regular visitor to Fete et Fleur, n'est-ce pas? Nancy is my sister-in-law! Anita

It is a wonderful time of year and you have only to gaze around and see the gifts of Nature as the leaves change, creatures begin to prepare for the cooler days ahead, and the geese are honking overhead as they make that migratory flight to visit you from here each and every year...
It appears that Kramer has found his bliss as well!
Enjoy your weekend Kim.

Oh Kim all those things are beautiful. I love that feeling in the air. Crisp and cooler. Makes me think of my children when they started back to school. Big deal with 6 going. One time we had kids in 4 schools. Elem, middle, highschool and college. A lot of falls have come and gone. blessings

Hi Kim,
You are actually making me excited for fall. These pictures are so pretty. I love the picture of the birds. The word bliss is one of my faves as well.We have a town not too far away by that name and I've always thought how awesome it would be to live in a place called Bliss.
Hugs,
June

Hi Kim,

I love all your Autumn photos ~ how beautiful.
Bliss is such a wonderful word, dictionary meaning ~ 1. perfect joy or happiness 2. being in heaven.
Couldn't be better than that.
Thanks for the lovely post.

Hi Kim:

Thanks for stopping by to enjoy my blog on Madison, IN...

Which fits right in here. I am living autumn bliss right now. Being home in Indy rumaging through antique shops, attending craft shows, just hanging out with my family... Getting kind of sad, only four days left.

ANYWAY, love your images especially the cozy porch. Hope you have a lovely Sunday,

blessings,
Rosalind

Oh, I am SO glad I have stumbled upon your blog! You have made this born-again Victorian very happy! I love autumn, too - so romantic, colorful and sensual ... cinnamon, pumpkin, apples, pie, butternut squash, and all the harvesting. The best time of year, and I love living in Maine to see our beautiful colors!
