Kramer Chronicles-The Stare Down

Ahhh...a quiet afternoon of cat napping...
but then...
What's this?
Calvin has decided to join Kramer on the couch.
It cannot be as Kramer was there first!
This can mean only one thing!
A 'stare down' contest to see who will be 'king of the couch'!
On your rug, get set...
STARE!
Kramer is trying different methods to break Calvin's intrepid gaze.
The infamous 'if I stretch as far as I can I will appear bigger and more intimidating' move.
That didn't work.
Maybe if I get closer I can stare him down.
OK, how about the stare down in 'pounce position' move.
Yup, that did it!
I am the stare down champion and 'king of the couch'!
Calvin defeatedly takes his place on the velvet chair.
Hey, who's that staring at me in the floor?

By far, this is one of your best, or should I say Kramer's bests? That last picture is incredible! Actually though, knowing Calvin the philosopher as I do, I believe he moved to the chair to demonstrate his support of Hobbes' social contract theory.

Have a good rest of the week!

Oh Kim,

That was too cute!!!! Poor Calvin! I am glad he found a spot on the lovely velvet chair! I think your furry babies must keep you well entertained! What would we do without them? I love your photos and the stories you write to go along with them!

Paula

Kim I don't think we get the IT from a gene. I studied something different than he did in college.I sometimes think he has a laugh when he asks something like, "What is your server name or where is your spyware button?" I have to say "I don't know." that is my biggest thing I don't understand all the terminology. Loved this post today. Great pics.

Poor Calvin. I guess Kramer thinks he is top "dog" in your household.

Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

I have enjoyed looking at the antics of your dog and cat, my own dog hates cats and I can never imagine him staying calm around one. It always amazes me when I see dogs and cats get along together.
