Kramer Chronicles-Cat in the Hatbox

It's been a while since I posted the Kramer Chronicles and to be honest Kramer was tired of waiting.
(Hey aunt Jodie:).
As fall approaches so do the reenactments so it was time to sew and mend outfits. Last year I purchased a green silk riding habit and recently found a vintage riding hat to go with it.
But you all know I can't wear a PLAIN hat-it must be embellished!
Out comes the hatbox full of laces and trims...
and a box of antique millinery feathers too.
It's time to get creative!
Hmmm...what's this? Kramer wants to help.
No Kramer, don't play with the lace!
No Kramer, you can't play with the feathers either!
He seems to like the feather I chose for the hat.
Kramer stop eating the feather!!! Since he can't play with the ribbon or the feathers he decides that the hoops are a good place to entertain himself.
Enough of that now he wants to help me choose some ribbon for the hat band.
Smiles for all his blogland fans!
But then...he realizes there is a hatbox lid on the loose that must be played with immediately!!!
Hoops and hatboxes...a virtual kitty playground!
As you can see Kramer is 'hiding' beneath the hatbox lid. Obviously he is invisible to us-or so he thinks:).
Despite all of Kramer's antics I was able to finish the hat:).
*******
BTW, thanks to all who left comments on the Barbershop BBQ post-glad you enjoyed the pictures!
To answer your question-my hubby sings bass:).

Kramer always seems to be in the thick of things.

Your hat turned out great! Love the long swoop of lace and the graceful arch to those feathers.

Wish I could see you doing your reenactment shows.

Hi Kim,

What a field day Cramer could have with all the feathers and trims.
I love the way your hat turned out and it looks great alongside the clock.

Hugs

Awesome job with the hat! Cats are so inquisitive, the only time my dogs get that interested is when I'm in the kitchen.

I love reading this post, knowing my little feline nephew is loved by so many readers and spoiled by his Mom! He surely puts on a good show for everyone.
I love reading everyone's comments too...he's really famous Kim! You might want to think about pawographs...they may help you in the future for your retirement!!!! ;)
Your hat came out beautiful!!! You made it look so easy! Oh a little lace here, a feather there...I would have just rathered lay on the floor and play with Kramer. I don't know how you can get anything done!
Give him a smooch for me!!!!
