are a comical, day to day journal documenting the remodeling of our bathroom. If you have ever remodeled, rennovated, or heard the words 'I can do that' from your dear husband then you will be able to relate to the Bathtub Diaries!

Ever feel as if you were born in the wrong era? I love all things Victorian! The simple pleasures and beauty of times gone by are soothing to my soul. A cup of tea from a vintage tea cup, an old worn volume of Pride and Prejudice, a crystal vase filled with fragrant roses, an old quilt, the gentle pitter-patter of raindrops on a tin roof are pure joy. The Lord has blessed me in many ways. Be content and live to the fullest with the blessing you have been given. Be creative, be productive, be kind. Use your imagination and make your home and your lifestyle all that it can be! Take the time to read a good book, write a letter to an old friend, bake cookies for an elderly neighbor, use the good china daily, brew tea in your favorite teapot-make life a special occasion everyday. It is my hope that visiting 'The Victorian Parlor' will transport you to a simpler, more graceful era. Good books, decorating ideas, scenes from the antique shop, tea tidbits, and storyetelling updates will be posted here often. Welcome to my Victorian Parlor. I hope you enjoy your visit!
