Good Morning from Terra Cottage

Good morning. It's a lovely, sunny morning here at Terra Cottage. I thought you might like to join me for tea.

Early morning sun shines through the bathroom window...

sending colorful shadows across the floor.

Gardens outside the library window soak in the morning's rays.

A chair offers an early morning seat in the back garden.

Sunlight splashes across the grass.

I've brewed a pot of mango tea this morning. Won't you join me for a cup?

Perhaps we should sit on the front porch and enjoy the morning sunlight.

Let's take a walk through the garden and see what's happening.
Roses are blooming (hmmm...looks like we are not the only ones enjoying this bloom:).

The garden path is dappled with shimmers of light.

A bee busy at work.

Light filters through the trees.

A settee just beyond a field of elephant ears welcomes one to sit back and enjoy the morning's glory.

Plants bask in the soft morning sun.

Even this dragon fly seems to be taking in the sun's warmth.

These elephant ears become almost translucent in the sunlight.

A female cardinal watches from the fence post.

The sun is rising higher and it's getting a bit warmer now. We had better head back to the porch for more tea:).

Thanks for joining me this morning!
"In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation."
Psalm 5:3, NIV

Oh Kim, I just love your post! This is a good one.
I'd be honored to sit and have some tea. Your pictures are super.

The bathroom is gorgeous and I have been enjoying reading the blog about the remodeling of it.
Can't wait to see your kitchen!!!

And this scripture is very touchy. I believe I will write this one down on an index card and work at memorizing it.

Blessings to you and I'm so enjoying your blogs!
Your bloggin friend in Kansas,
D

Oops, I meant to type the scripture is very touchING. With a toddler running, Barney singing in the background around plus I'm no typist, it came out touchy.
Have to reread my words. haha

Tea? Did someone say tea? If it's Darjeeling, count me in!

The beautiful reminders of God's presence reassures me that He is with us all. Thanks for you kind words for My Rachel and our family. I can thank God and sleep finally tonight. I was busy with her children all night. They were so upset and worried. Her poor husband fainted in the hospital yesterday and that was a fiasco. Blessings

What a beautiful place. I think that you could find me in the tub the whole time just enjoying that sunlight making colorful prisms on the floor! I love visiting your blog and getting to go on little tours of the most wonderful places in your corner of the world. I know that it has been a while since I have been around, so sorry about that. But I have been thinking of you and wondering what is new, and once the summer is over I hope to have my daily blog time back again! until then dear friend, sending a hug your way. Debby
