Sunday Wisdom

"She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
"Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."
Proverbs 31:25-29, NIV

What a beautiful blushing pink rose! I never was much like the "proverbial" Proverbs 31 woman, unfortunately. However, my mother comes pretty close! ~Lori

How pretty Kim, another gem!! I hope your day was just wonderful. It seems ages since I have been by to visit!! Now that I am up and on the move so much, there are not enough hours in the day for me to make up for lost time and get all the things accomplished that I want to. Soon the day is gone and I am wondering where the hours went to. Anyway, I wanted to tell you how VERY MUCH I enjoyed your comment on the equestrian post the other day on my blog. I loved hearing about your memories of such a wonderful time of your life. I showed it to my daughter and she totally agreed with you, those early morning hours in the stables, the smell of the hay, the last minute preps for outfit, boots and saddle, etc. That is just the way is was for her, and she loves those times. When college does not gobble up her time so much, she hopes to go back to it all. There is no place on earth that she loves more then in the stables with her beloved horses! Thank you sooo much for sharing those thoughts with me, Kim. I was delighted to read them. hugs from afar, Debby
