Tuesday Tea Tidbits

A Tea should always include flowers, whether fresh or silk. This hand painted pitcher was a great find at a local thrift store and looks great with some silk flowers leftover from another arrangement.
Kramer inspects the flowers to make sure the arrangement is up to par:).

Of course, tea pots make great flower containers!

These are fresh flowers but Kramer doesn't seem to approve.
Another arrangement with leftover silk flowers from another project gracing this glass basket:).

Kramer seems to prefer the fresh flower arrangements.

Sometimes simple arrangements like a single rose in old cut glass creamers and salt shakers make a big statement.

Here is another recipe that is a hit at tea parties.
Olive Spread
Mix together one package of cream cheese (softened), two teaspoons of garlic powder, two shakes of Texas Pete hot sauce, and one can of chopped green olives with pimentos.
Serve with your crackers of choice.

Kramer is so cute checking out the flowers and forming his opinions!

Hello Kim,
Think the soft pink roses in crystal on a tray is lovely. Really like this look. (Wanna copy...grins)

I want to try your olive spread for crackers. Sounds so tasty. (Wanna copy...grins)

This is an inspiring post.
Love your ideas.

Blessings,

Thanks for use of the poem. I love the roses in the cut glass. I have cut glass creamer and sugar from wedding gift almost 50 years ago and all my china and silver. Even have one Pyrex mixing bowl from 3 bowl set also a wedding gift. Kramer must be a petite cat,not a bull in a china cabinet.

Kim, I want to apologize to you. I goofed when first posting a picture for announcing your tea party.
I have it corrected now and deleted the wrong picture from my file, but the computer has it in it's memory and I'm not sure how to correct this.
I will ask my husband how to do this and perhaps he'll help me get it off the "stories you might want to read". It pops up from time to time.
It is one of your pictures of your china. I am very sorry, I misunderstood and did this wrong.

After I saw your badge on the other Lady's site, I fixed it.
I'm so sorry, I understand that you don't want us using your pictures/sayings without permission.

My apologizes.
