Antiquing We Will Go!

Ok, so the frog doesn't have much to do with antiquing but I thought he was cute.
While I was preparing tea yesterday morning this little guy decided to check things out.
Of course, out came the camera and snapped a shot of him hanging from the screen outside of the kitchen window.
Over the past few days mom and I have been checking out the local thrift and antique stores.
Great deals were found including this vintage teapot for $5.

The porcelian bouillion cup and saucer has lovely pink roses inside and out.

I really liked the navy blue border on this antique plate.

This teapot was a wonderful find at a local thrift store for $10.

Big surpirse-I love the movie 'Gone With the Wind'. I found this book which details how the cast was chosen as well as some other interesting trivia facts about the movie.

The purple hat was $3 and the vintage lace jacket was $2.50.

These two pieces are bedecked with delicate pink roses. The cup was $1 and the saucer was $2.

This Victorian style fringed lamp shade was a mere $4.

No, I didn't buy the bathtub but I couldn't resist taking a picture of it as I love old tubs. Since I have the Bathtub Diaries (http://bathtubdiary.blogspot.com) blog up I thought I should post this tub picture:).
Thanks for tagging along on our shopping spree!
