Sunday Wisdom

"Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God."
Romans 5:1-2, NIV

From our prayers in church this morning:

"God, our Father, has blessed us with every spiritual blessing and chosen us to be holy and blameless before Him.
Yet we turn from serving God to serving ourselves. Forgive us, gracious God.
Open our eyes and our hearts to receive your gift;
open our lips and hands to share it with all humanity in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen."

That is what gives us our worth. God's promise. Sometimes we forget and think it is things and people. Thanks for sharing.

I think one of greatest hangups in life it that we forget words such as those, "every spiritual blessing." We forget how truly blessed we are.
