Let Sleeping Dogs...Nap!

Our dogs are nappers! But Lizzy is the ultimate napper.
Where Kasey and Calvin will pretty much nap normally, Lizzy is a bit more dramatic in her napping style.

She will nap on a lap...
She must be dreaming about James Cagney here,
"Oh, you dirty Rat...Terrier..."

Pillow napping...

'upside down full body sofa' napping with Calvin...

' upside-down head' napping...

' just plain cute' napping...

' free fall' napping...

napping on grampa...

' upside-down with a half twist' napping...

more 'free fall' napping...

the better known 'curled up' napping...

'hanging over the edge of the cushion' napping...

' running in our sleep' napping...

'stop taking pictures of me' napping.
Lizzy seems to have made a sport of napping:)!

Dear Kim,

I LOVE this post, of course I love all of your posts! :) I enjoyed the photos so very much. Your furry babies are so adorable. Please give them kisses from me and Pearl.

Oh, they are all so sweet! I love the different ways Lizzy naps!!! Pearl naps in a lot of those same positions. She will nap in the 'free fall' often, but we call it locked paw. I think free fall is better! :) Oh, what would we do without our furry babies. I am so thankful God blessed us with their love and companionship!

Enjoy your weekend!
Love, Paula

I thought of your while I was posting this. Wondered if you had been there. I missed yesterday's post but enjoyed visiting today. Part 2 does not have any pictures I took since I was not into photography as much then. But just the pictures of those homes are beautiful. Love the sleeping furries.

Hi again dear Kim,

I just wanted to say thank you for your sweet comment and letting me know you have a featherweight, too!

I love to sew on mine better than my Bernina, as well! How wonderful your husband found yours for such a good price, and stood by it so the other couple wouldn't get it. He sounds so much like my hubby! My husband found mine, too, and for a really good price. The antique dealer even gave him an extra discount. We go to that antique store quite often and they are so kind to us. Yes, they are usually very expensive. So, the Lord blessed us both with one! I enjoy quilting, but have not quilted in a while, I will have to try it on my featherweight. I had heard they were very popular with quilters, and I can see why.

I am so glad you liked my pillow and love to sew with vintage fabrics and trims, too. Nothing new compares to them.

Love, Paula

Ah! Your dog goes by my nickname! But I'm not much of a napper. She's adorable, especially when she's konked out with four paws straight up in the air. Maybe she has narcolepsy. :-)

Kim,

Your dogs are so cute! I love all your wonderful photos on your blog. I agree with your "About Me" section... I, too, feel as though I should have been born in the Victorian Era!

Thank you for taking a look at my blog and for the nice comment. I look forward to catching up on all your older posts, and to your new ones!
