Joy...

Joy…

The silent twinkle in the night sky,
Ocean breezes billowing by,
Birdsong lilting in the early morn,
The long distant sound of a ship’s horn,
The freedom to believe whatever you like,
The beauty of woodlands gracing a hike,
Old gnarled tree branches reaching above,
The feeling one finds knowing God’s love.

Joy is the simple pleasure of a cold winter's afternoon with a cup of tea and a good book.
What brings you joy?

Your poem brings wonderful images to my mind! I'm with you on what brings me joy. There are so many simple things that do that for me, especially in nature. God's creation is magnificent...He's the Original Artist!!! ~Lori

I guess for all the complaining I do about the winter weather I would have to say.... My Joy is... Today with a very gentle snow falling.... good health & a family that I love & loves me!
Thank you for the reminder!!

Yes, I agree! Tea is something that also brings me joy. Usually with soft music playing in the background or the sounds of nature.

Many sweet blessings!
